October 1, 2026, 12:00 - 12:45 pm ET

Want to turn complex data into smarter policy? Join us on September 16 for a virtual conversation with Anne Byrne, MS Degree Faculty Director; Mary Garin, Associate Director of Masters Programs; and Assistant Professor Max Kapustin to discover how Cornell’s Brooks School of Public Policy prepares students to combine data science, AI, statistics, and public policy to solve complex challenges across sectors.

During this session, you’ll get an inside look at the Brooks School’s 12-month, STEM-designated Master of Science in Data Science for Public Policy (MS-DSP) and learn how its interdisciplinary curriculum prepares graduates to apply data and analytical tools to real-world policy challenges.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • How the curriculum combines data science, AI, machine learning, statistics, ethics, and public policy
  • The employer-focused capstone and opportunities to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges
  • What it’s like to learn in a collaborative, cohort environment
